US based pizza restaurant chain Domino's pizza has introduced its new handmade pan pizza – a pan fried pizza featuring a crispy golden crust with buttery taste.The company noted that the new pizza offers fresh alternative to industry's use of frozen dough as it is handmade from fresh, never-frozen dough.
With this launch, the company is foraying into pan pizza segement - which according to the company, makes up 1 in every 5 pizzas sold in the US.
Domino's will be launching the new pizza at nearly 5000 stores in the US. In addition, the company will be initiating a national television campaign on 1 October to promote its new pizza. The campaign will offer medium two-topping Handmade Pan Pizzas for $7.99 each.
