Abbott Nutrition has extended its nutritional shake portfolio with the launch of a new product in the US targeted at health-conscious adults.Available in chocolate and vanilla flavours, Ensure Complete contains Abbott’s Revigor multivitamin and multimineral formulation, protein, omega-3, pre-biotics, antioxidants (vitamins C, E and Selenium), calcium and vitamin D. Abbott said that the products are suitable for those with gluten and lactose intolerances.
“To provide nutritional support for adults, Abbott introduced Ensure Complete as a good source of nutrition to help meet dietary needs by contributing to muscle, heart, immune system, and bone health," said Christine Steele, Abbott’s R&D science, innovation & education director.
