The cup features
a user-friendly concave-to-convex shape which moulds easily into the hand, while the wide lid-opening ensures easy drinking.The availability of hi-tech in-mould labelling – a first for this type of cup – allows full 360° coverage of the container for colourful, high-impact decoration, which can also be extended to the lid as well, to help maximise brand identify and create a premium image.
The use of IML for the injection-moulded polypropylene cup provided a particular challenge, due to the container’s shape. RPC Bramlage’s ability to devise a workable solution means brands can avoid a second, higher-cost step of decorating by either printing or shrink sleeve, while guaranteeing a full-body design with no wrinkles.
