SeaSam Food, a Swedish frozen food company, has earned Friend of the Sea certification for greasy back shrimps, Indian white and giant tiger prawns. SeaSam is equipped with a batch system that guarantees traceability from producer to customer. All catch zones and fishing vessels are well documented and a database records all purchases and sales.
SeaSam is sourced in Indonesia and the prawns are caught with selective trammel nets and artisanal fisheries.
