On July 8, 2013, the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) published a Circular announcing that its proposed food additive amendment will enter into force on August 1, 2013. The Food (Amendment) Regulations 2013 include various regulatory changes to Singapore's list of authorized food additives and maximum use levels. Singapore's food additive regulations are found in the Sale of Food Act (Chapter 283).
