Wegmans Food Markets’ Next Door restaurant here has started lunch service and launched a new lunch menu.In addition to its current dinner hours, Next Door will now be open Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The new hours are in part a response to customer requests for lunch at the restaurant, according to a press release.
The lunch menu features comfort food, healthy alternatives, sandwiches, soups and sushi.
“We’ve taken our most-popular dinner selections and combined them with new dishes to create a menu that offers fresh, affordable choices for mid-day dining. So, whether you’re meeting a friend or joining co-workers for a quick lunch, or celebrating a special occasion, we won’t disappoint,” Executive Chef Chris Brandt said in a statement.
New menu items include blue crab and avocado salad, truffle mac and cheese and a bento box with miso soup, half a sushi roll, pickled veggies and a chef’s choice of nigiri, Asian salad, teriyaki glazed salmon or chicken.
