According to the official website of the General Administration of Customs on January 10, 2019, on January 2, 2019, the website of the Ministry of Food and Drugs of South Korea issued an amendment to the Health Functional Food Act (Law 15938), amending "Article 14 (Standards and Norms) (Point 1)", requiring that the standards and norms for the use of food additives in children's health functional food should be regulated accordingly. The amendment came into force from December 12, 2019.
